Favorite Tools and Equipment

Get everything you need to get started grilling for the summer! (or any time of year if you’re like us) These are all our favorite tools equipment and resources. Keep an eye out for reviews on individual products on our blog. Everything on here are things we’ve used. In our opinion these are the best grilling tools and accessories you can find.

Charcoal Grill – Weber 22″

This is our go to grill for almost everything. You really can’t beat it. It’s simple, affordable, and makes everything taste good. Even better, these things last forever! I’ve had mine for nearly 15 years and it looks almost the same as it did new.

Charcoal Chimney

You can start a charcoal grill without one, but we highly advise against it. The Weber charcoal chimney is made to last and really makes things so much easier!

Pellet Smoker

We use a small Traeger grill. The Traeger pellet grill we have has been discontinued, but this one is very similar to what we have. We got rid of our gas grill after adding the Traeger.

Grill Cover

We highly recommend the cover for the Traeger. This cover fits a little big for our grill, but it still works fine. This cover is made of super thick material and hasn’t faded at all since we got it almost 2 years ago.

Digital Meat Thermometer

You cannot barbecue safely and accurately without a meat thermometer. We highly recommend this style as it’s cheap, accurate, and lasts a long time.

Cooking Utensils

We couldn’t find the Craftsman cooking utensils online. However, these are pretty personal to you, so anything like this will work. You’ll definitely want tongs, a spatula, and a brush.

Favorite Barbecue Book

Meathead is our favorite book. It’s easy to follow and everything we’ve tried turns out great!
